William de Lillo Massive Rhinestone and Glass Stone Butterfly Pin Brooch
SKU: 7608This is a butterfly that is meant to be noticed with its grand size and beautiful design. The wings are outlined in sparkling rhinestones that frame large clear glass marquise stones. A single rose cut glass stone creates the head and a ribbed tear drop shaped stone creates the body. Between lies more glistening rhinestones. The setting is a japanned metal that creates a bold contrast that enhances the overall design.
William de Lillo worked for Tiffany and Harry Winston prior to going into business himself. In 1967, he and his partner Robert Clark started designing and making jewelry together until 1976. Robert Clark had recently been the head designer at Miriam Haskell.
