Vintage T.Y. Lee 14k Gold Sapphire EarringsSKU: 8857
Exquisitely elegant earrings featuring beautiful sapphire drops that extend from round sapphires atop. These lovely lab created color change sapphires were popular mid-century 20th century and found in a variety of jewelry. On these earrings, the sapphires are primarily purple in color with a red undertone that subtly changes with different light sources. The sapphires are set in 14k gold and have screwback closures.
An advertisement and store front photograph establish that T.Y. Lee was in operation during the 1950s in Hong Kong. Jewelry that bears the T.Y. Lee hallmark is fine jewelry and most often set with jade stones.
