Vintage Diamond and Star Sapphire Cabochon 14k Gold Ring

These sapphires have a inner sheen due to the presence of rutile needles that produce the rutile silk effect. The presence is also what produces the cat's eye or star effect. I did want to mention that the star effect will only be visible under direct light and most of the time it does not appear, but they produce the beautiful silk sheen.

This lovely ring is set with 3 sapphire cabochons for 1.97 cttw. The sapphires are accompanied by 14 single cut shimmering diamonds atop a 14k white gold filigree gallery. A truly stunning ring.
