Victorian Scottish Pebble Malachite and Sterling PinSKU: 8596
A wonderful example of Victorian Scottish pebble agate jewelry that became popular in the later half of the 19th century partially due to Queen Victoria's visits to her Scotland castle. Brooches and bracelets are the most common form for this beautiful and historic jewelry.
Six tear drop shaped polished malachite stones are symmetrically arranged and decorate this lovely Victorian creation. The pin is sterling silver and has been intricately hand chased in various patterns between each stone. The extended pin stem and c-clasp are indicative of the era.
