Victorian Bohemian Garnet Earrings, 14k Hooks

A large pyrope garnet cabochon is encircled by rose cut garnets for an elegant display on these lovely Victorian era earrings. Garnet set jewelry was at the height of fashion at the time these earrings were created. Although jewelry set with cabochons is less prevalent.

The earring hooks were replaced with 14k gold at a later time. The remainder of the earrings are comprised of a beautifully gilded metal.
