Trifari Pink Fruit Salad and Rhinestone Basket Fur Pin
SKU: 8757A Trifari pink fruit salad rhinestone basket fur pin clip from the 1940s is a magnificent example of Trifari’s creativity and craftsmanship under Alfred Philippe’s design direction. Trifari’s “fruit salad” jewelry drew inspiration from Cartier’s Tutti Frutti style, offering a more affordable but equally stunning alternative.
The pink molded glass stones are shaped like leaves, buds or berries and are intricately molded to imitate fine carved gemstones.. These stones fill the basket, creating the appearance of an overflowing bouquet or fruit display. Gold-washed metal provides a warm, luxurious finish.
The fur pin clip patent was filed by Alfred Philippe and patented in 1941 with patent number 125156. .
