Taxco, Mexico Sterling Amethyst Pre-eagle Earrings

These exquisite earrings from Taxco, Mexico are crafted in sterling silver. The design is reminiscent of leaves or petals that gracefully drape from a center amethyst cabochon. The cabochon is a lovely deep purple hue.  The earrings have screwback tighteners for adjustable comfort.

The hallmark present on the earrings dates them to before the introduction of the eagle assay mark in 1948. A stunning example of early Mexican silver.  These vintage earrings are truly timeless in their appeal.
