Takahashi Cockatoo Vintage Wood Bird Pin

This lovely Yellow-crested Cockatoo is expertly hand painted and hand carved by the Takahashis. The bird is striking with a yellow crest and tail feathers . A blue/grey outlines the feather detail. Found in wooded and cultivated areas of East Timor and Indonesia's Islands of Sulawesi and the Lesser Sundas. Currently the Yellow-crested Cockatoo is critically endangered.
