Takahashi Baltimore Oriole Wood Bird PinSKU: 8571
The bright orange breast with black feathered head and wings make this bird easy to identify as the male Baltimore Oriole. Because the male's colors resemble the coat of arms of Lord Baltimore, it was aptly named.
The legs are twisted copper wire attached to a wooden branch. Intricate details of the birds plumage was hand painted by Kiyoka Takahashi and body was hand carved by her husband, Yoneguma. Because each bird is completely hand crafted, they are each one of a kind. Accompanied by original box.
