Rare Takahashi Bohemian Waxwing Vintage Wood Bird Pin Brooch

The Cedar and Bohemian waxwings have colorful plumage and  are very similar in appearance. One way to tell the difference is the yellow and white wing markings seen on this Bohemian waxwing that are absent on the Cedar.

This beautiful example has been hand painted and hand carved by Yoneguma and Kiyoka Takahashi. Accompanied by an original card and box.
