Art Deco Sterling Chrysoprase Earrings

An oval chrysoprase stone glows green on these Art Deco era sterling earrings. Sterling silver embellished with marcasites securely holds the stone while an intricately decorated middle joins the top and bottom.  A single marcasite marks the center of the floral form atop the earrings. A truly lovely Art Deco treasure.

Chrysoprase is chalcedony which is a cryptocrystalline quartz. Chalcedony does have different colors but nickel gives chrysoprase the characteristic green color.
