From Trifari, this intriguing “Talisman” fur pin clip was advertised with earrings in 1947 and patented (patent number 149015 ) on March 16, 1948. The fur clip was offered with different colored glass cabochons. Ruby red such as this one as well a sapphire blue or moonstone.
A crown decorated with emerald green and sapphire blue rhinestones is set atop a scepter like form on this lovely example of 1940s Trifari jewelry. The center is adorned with ruby red glass cabochons with additional gem colored rhinestones. The setting is sterling vermeil.
