Colorful and quirky, this special bird has a green body and a turquoise head rendered in lucite on this Hattie Carnegie brooch. A bit of sparkle shines from the rhinestone eye. Rhinestones also accent the bird's neck and beak. Gold tone scallops and green spheres create the bird's crown. Most likely inspired by the dodo, this bird came in several color combinations with this one being less common.
