Art Nouveau 10k Gold Enamel Pansy PinSKU: 5824
At the time this lovely brooch was created, the pansy flower often symbolized the love or admiration of one person for another. The origins of this beautiful sentiment comes from the word pansy itself. It is from the verb pensee in French meaning to think and in this circumstance it can be taken to mean thinking of you. The pansy on this circa 1900s 10k gold pin has been realistically portrayed thanks to some very detailed enamel work. The curvilinear frame gives it that Art Nouveau style.
