Saphiret glass was at the height of popularity in the late 19th to early 20th century and saphiret jewelry from this time period has become highly sought after. The appearance of saphiret glass is created by adding gold to sapphire colored glass. This wonderful example is a shamrock or clover form with saphirets with a matte finish held in a gold tone setting.

Condition: The original c-clasp has been replaced by a roll-over clasp. One black spot that is not due to damage but occurred upon creation of the cabochon, excellent condition.
