A WWII era pin depicting the majestic eagle with outstretched wings and clutching an olive branch and arrows. The wings and tail feathers are covered with shimmering rhinestone. The remainder of the body has been hand painted with enamel to bring the eagle to life.
A wonderful example of 1940s figural jewelry. This particular depiction of an eagle is seen in the United State's coat of arms and is part of the Great Seal adopted in 1782.
