This elegant brooch was created prior to the discovery of the white gold process. To achieve the finish, a platinum overlay was used with 15ct yellow gold beneath. With a unique specialty cut, a diamond shaped natural sapphire shimmers as the center piece. Interspersed rose cut diamonds sparkle as they frame the sapphire in a millegrain edged setting. A smooth and sleek finish completes the tapered ends.
