With a deep rich color, a single amethyst sparkles from a pearl frame on this elegant Edwardian pendant. The pearls extend past the centerpiece to conclude at a cluster that cleverly hides the bale. Each 15ct yellow gold setting has a beautifully applied millegrain edge.
This piece may have started with a pearl strand based on the height created by the amethyst and the bale (see side photo). It works well on a chain but at times will rest slightly to the side. Accompanied by a 20" 14k yellow gold box contemporary chain.

Hallmarks: 15ct. The ct mark provides a clue to the European origin.
