A Gabriel Argy-Rousseau glass pine cone plaque pendant necklace is a stunning and highly collectible piece of antique art glass jewelry. Gabriel Argy-Rousseau was a master of the pâte de verre (glass paste) technique. He created glass designs by pressing powdered glass into molds and firing it at high temperatures. The pine cone motif of this necklace has been rendered with incredible detail and texture using this technique.

The glass plaque showcases earthy tones such as amber, green, or brown. Delicate shading and translucency highlights the craftsmanship. The plaque is suspended from the original silk cord which also features a decorative tassel. The cord is delicate due to age.

Gabriel Argy-Rousseau (1885–1953) is a renowned French artist and glass maker. His designs are characterized his mastery of the pâte de verre technique.
