Long, curving tail feathers extend from this elegant bird in flight. The birds head, wing edges and tail feather tips are accented with sparkling clear rhinestones. Cobalt blue rhinestones decorate the body and a blue rhinestone creates the eye. There is a light wash for a subtle gold tone on the sterling. There is a loop on the reverse that could be used to wear this bird as a pendant but most likely it was part of a chatelaine and would have had a chain connecting to anther pin.
