Vintage Sterling Amethyst Cabochon Ring

A vintage sterling silver amethyst cabochon ring with a design that is influenced by Mexican silversmithing traditions or possibly a Mexican in origin. The ring features a bezel set amethyst cabochon with rich purple hues. The cabochon cut enhances the stone’s natural color. Around the stone is silver rope detail with half spheres completing the frame.
