Sansbury & Nellis 14k Gold Faceted Citrine Cufflinks

Citrine is a variety of quartz that is often a beautiful shade of pale yellow. These cufflinks are adorned with faceted citrines that are yellow when viewed from the side and a deeper orange tone when seen from the front due to a foil back to enhance the color. Each stone is set in a 14k gold setting crafted by the firm, Sansbury and Nellis. The company manufactured jewels from the late 19th until the early 20th century.

With a "spool" form, these handsome cufflinks are a handsome example of the design that was briefly popular in the 1920s.
