Vintage 1940s Boucher Rhinestone Bow Pin Brooch
SKU: 5751A rhinestone encrusted ribbon is elegantly rendered in metal and tied into a bow-shaped brooch. The loops of the bow are finished with shimmering baguette-cut rhinestones, while two chain dangles extend below, each ending in a sparkling rhinestone display that adds graceful movement to the piece.
This brooch bears an inventory number which is part of a system Marcel Boucher and help approximately the date the year of production. Based on this number, the piece dates to around 1947. It also features the Phrygian cap hallmark, used between 1944 and 1949, which further supports the 1947 dating.
Marcel Boucher, originally trained in fine jewelry, drew on that foundation when he established his own company in 1937. Today, his work is highly collectible, celebrated for its exceptional craftsmanship, originality, and striking design.
