Extraordinary large glass cat's eye cabochon glistens from a floral setting on this brooch by Alice Caviness. The textured cast setting is accented with clear and topaz rhinestones sprinkled throughout adding sparkle as the light permits. 

Cat's eye is a nickname given by collectors to this glass cabochon type that has an unique effect achieved by foil. The trade name is usually the dominate color preceding the word opal.
