RARE Takahashi Redpoll Top Down Wood Bird Pin

One of the more sought after designs of the Takahashi birds, the top down form is very rare. What is even more rare is that it is a Redpoll. Superbly hand painted and hand carved by Yoneguma and Kiyoka Takahashi, the detail and the colors are stunning.  This particular species can be found in the Arctic and sub-Arctic regions.  Accompanied by original box and card.

Condition: Box has a bit of tape on it and an area where tape has been removed. The box lid has the card glued to the inside and "redpoll" hand written on the outside. All else in excellent condition
