Art Nouveau William Kerr Sterling Winged Cherub Watch Pin/Brooch

Adorable winged cherub is rendered in sterling silver on this lovely watch pin/brooch. The repousse design is highly detailed and is enhanced by the oxidation that has occurred over time. The reverse features a hook with the original purpose of attaching a watch if so desired.

The William B. Kerr Co. was established in 1855 and was eventually purchased by Gorham in 1906.  The company manufactured jewelry, flatware and hollowware and is well regarded for Art Nouveau jewelry.
