Kramer of New York Rhinestone Large Snowflake Pin and EarringsSKU: 1995
If you love the Schreiner pin pictured on the front of the November 15, 1950 Vogue, you will notice that this pin is nearly identical in design. Glistening with a variety of crystal rhinestones, this stunning and generously sized Kramer brooch resembles a snowflake with its complex geometric pattern. The rhinestones are prong set in a japanned metal providing a wonderful contrast. The earrings are a simpler design with marquise rhinestones that perfectly compliment the pin.
Accompanied by the original box which states "the Diamond Look by Kramer".
Kramer Jewelry Creations began business in 1943 in New York City. Because of the location, Kramer pieces are often marked Kramer NY or Kramer of New York. During the 1950s, Kramer began manufacturing jewelry for Christian Dior and continued through the 1960s. This jewelry is signed with both names. The business closed its doors in the 1970s but left us with many beautiful creations that are collected today.
